| 1975 - Reno, NV. The King's Inn casino opened at 303 West Street, on the corner of Third. The King's Inn Hotel had opened, without gaming, in September of 1974. In January of 1975 Allen Bergendahl, who would be general manager and principal stockholder in the casino, applied for a gaming license for 150 slot machines and 12 table games. The license was finally granted in August. The casino operated until 1982, In 1986, after failure to meet fire-codes, the hotel closed. . |
